imec Leuven (Headquarters)
The imec headquarters are located in Leuven. It’s the place where the imec story started in 1984. This is the biggest campus of imec, consisting of five buildings in a beautiful green environment. Brilliant minds from all over the world are working in this stimulating environment with world-class infrastructure, amongst which our 2 state-of-the-art cleanrooms and many other labs.

By train
- Leuven is a stop on the international railroad London (UK) - Brussels - Liège - Köln (Germany).
- Coming from any other line, you can change at Brussels' North, Central, or Midi stations, where there is a train to Leuven every 30 minutes.
- Brussels International Airport has its own railway station located in the airport building. You can take a direct train from the airport to Leuven.
- From the station, you can take a bus to imec (see further)

By bus
- To IMEC TOWER – Remisebosweg 1 (main visiting address)
From Leuven station, take bus 2, 5a, 5b or 12 (Heverlee Wetenschapspark or Heverlee Campus Arenberg).
From there it is a 8’’ walk to imec tower. - To IMEC 1 – Kapeldreef 75
From Leuven station or downtown Leuven, take bus 2 or 12 (Heverlee Campus Arenberg). The bus stop is situated just opposite the imec 1 building.

By car coming from E314 (including Brussels & Brussels Airport)
- Take the E40 direction Luik (Liège) - Keulen
- After about 20 kilometers, change to the E314 (A2) Leuven - Genk - Hasselt
- After about 250 meters, take the exit 15 Leuven & follow the directions for "imec 1” or for "imec tower”

For imec tower (visits)
- Follow the Koning Boudewijnlaan (N264) and turn right at the 2nd traffic lights, onto Wetenschapspark Arenberg.
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit for the Gaston Geenslaan.
- Drive to the next roundabout. Take the second exit to access imec’s underground parking, where you can park on the -1 level.
- If this visitor’s parking is full, you can park at the overflow parking on the Gaston Geenslaan.

- At Tervuursevest (N3/R23), take the Koning Boudewijnlaan (N264).
- At the 3rd traffic lights, drive left, onto Wetenschapspark Arenberg.
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit for the Gaston Geenslaan.
- Drive to the next roundabout. Take the first exit for the Steengroevenlaan.

- Follow the Koning Boudewijnlaan (N264) until the 4th traffic lights. Turn right into the Celestijnenlaan
- WARNING: Your GPS may direct you to turn right at the first traffic lights (Sint-Jansbergsesteenweg). This is wrong. Drive on to the 4th traffic lights.
- Follow the Celestijnenlaan until you reach the 2nd road on the right (after about 250 meters). This is imec’s Kapeldreef. The visitor’s parking and central entrance are on the right.

- At the first roundabout, take the 1st exit
