itec - imec research group at KU Leuven

Itec is an interdisciplinary research group of KU Leuven and imec that specializes in personalized and data-driven digital technologies for learning (education and training) and healthcare. The group develops contributions to theory, novel digital technologies (explainable artificial intelligence algorithms and models), and insights about the integration of technology and data-informed decision-making in practical applications.

The end goal is to create measurable impact for learners and patients, teachers and medical experts, and leaders in schools and hospitals as well as their wider ecosystem.
