CUDIX: coera auditory indexing, A Perception-Driven Acoustic Attention for Directional Robotic Sensing
This project explores acoustic perception as an active sensing modality for robotic safety and human-awareness, rather than treating sound as a passive or auxiliary signal. A distributed microphone array mounted on a robot continuously captures environmental sound fields, providing omnidirectional, passive, awareness of the surrounding space.
