As a Process Assistant (PA) in the Metrology Operations team, you will work directly with state-of-the-art semiconductor inspection and metrology tools, supporting recipe development, process monitoring, and day-to-day operational readiness.

Process Assistant - Metrology 

What you will do

  • Operational Excellence 
    • Support day-to-day operational readiness of inspection and metrology tools 
    • Collaborate closely with First Line Support (FLS), Equipment and Process Engineers to ensure tool availability and stability 
    • Act as a technical link between Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth handovers and alignment 
    • Contribute to shift-based support structure and maintain process quality during 24/7 operations 
    • Support cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence within the Fab 
    • Escalate and follow up on deviations in recipe behaviour or tool setup 
  • Tool & Recipe Support 
    • Develop, tune, and maintain recipes for inspection and metrology tools 
    • Execute recipe management activities including tool-to-tool recipe transfers and version tracking 
    • Perform adjustments and troubleshooting for recipe errors and setup inconsistencies 
    • Ensure proper recipe integration and integrity checks 
    • Assist with process qualification, calibration, and SPC runs 
    • Collect, analyze, and report process data to identify optimization opportunities 
  • Team & Knowledge Sharing 
    • Work in tandem with operators, FLS, and engineers to execute tasks effectively 
    • Take part in training, knowledge transfer, process documentation, and support onboarding of new team members 
    • Actively build and share know-how on metrology principles and tool behaviour within the Operations and Engineering teams

  • A bachelor in chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Electromechanics, or similar industrial experience
