What you will do

The Scanners team at imec is a team of experts on several advanced ASML scanners, an e-beam writer and a nanoimprint tool. To strengthen our team and continue development of these high tech lithography devices, we are looking for a Project Engineer. 

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project planning and execution in the 300mm clean room in Leuven. You will also be involved in project intake and reporting to the customer. After several months of training to get accustomed with our lithography tools and supporting metrology, your project work starts. Besides being responsible for multiple individual projects, you would also provide expert support to R&D colleagues. 

  • You will be responsible for planning and execution of machine-specific R&D projects.
  • You will be involved in the project intake and customer communication.
  • You will provide expert project support for R&D colleagues.

Who you are

  • Master, or equivalent by experience, preferably in industrial engineering, physics or chemistry. 
  • You can work independently and are proactive. 
  • You are a fluent communicator and team player. 
  • You work accurately and have attention to detail. 
  • You are willing to work in a dual-shift regime (early-late). 
  • Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
