R&D Process Engineer

What you will do

As part of the Advanced Patterning Department, you’ll help pioneer innovative lithography solutions to advance chip scaling roadmaps. You will strengthen the team, which investigates novel imaging and reticle solutions to ensure the future directions in advanced lithography. Your key role will be to interpret the team’s needs for analysis, automation, and data processing into software applications that meet expectations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop automation solutions in various environments, including EDA and simulation software and cleanroom-based tools (e.g., CD SEM, scanner).
  • Organize extensive datasets from various tools, ensuring data is accessible and easily searchable.
  • Develop and maintain software algorithms, with a focus on integrating machine learning and AI.
  • Support the team with measurement requests, offline data processing, and mask designing.

Who you are

  • You hold a master’s degree in Electronics or Software engineering.  
  • You are proficient in programming languages for automation.
  • You have knowledge of large data handling through databases.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in lithography processing and software, is a plus. 
  • You demonstrate analytic skills and creative thinking. 
  • You are proactive, structured, transparent, and accurate.
  • You are a strong team player and a good communicator.
  • You have excellent documenting and communication skills in English.
